Hermiston Parks & Recreation has updated the Hermiston Family Aquatic Center pool pass structure to provide a simpler, more consistent, and more flexible pricing system for our guests.

In previous years, the Family Pass created confusion because household size and family definitions can vary significantly. This made the pass difficult to apply fairly and consistently. To better serve the community, the City has moved to individual Splash Pass options with quantity discounts available at the time of purchase.

The new Splash Pass structure allows guests to take advantage of lower per-pass pricing when multiple passes are purchased in the same transaction. These passes do not have to be limited to members of the same family or household. Guests may purchase passes with friends, neighbors, or others in one transaction to receive the quantity discount.

Passes must be purchased in one transaction with one form of payment. Only one discount may be applied per transaction.

This updated structure keeps pool access affordable while making pricing easier to understand for both guests and staff. Based on an approximately 77-day pool season, an $85 Splash Pass breaks down to about $1.10 per day, with even greater value available through the quantity discount.

These changes help ensure fair access, clearer pricing, and continued support for the long-term operation of the Hermiston Family Aquatic Center.
