HEROS Sportsplex
The Hermiston Oregon Sportsplex (HEROS) is an 18-acre regional multi-sport field complex located next to the Eastern Oregon Trade and Event Center (EOTEC) at 1705 E. Airport Road in Hermiston, Oregon. The HEROS Sportsplex provides the area youth a safe place to engage in healthy athletic activities.
HEROS opened for play in Spring 2024 and now hosts league sports, tournaments, practices, and special sporting events throughout the year.
Facility Features
- 18-acre multi-sport complex
- Six full-size athletic fields available for competition and practice
- Fields designed for soccer, football, lacrosse, and other field sports
- Field lighting installed on initial fields to support evening play
Located adjacent to EOTEC, allowing the facility to host large tournaments and regional events
Community Impact
HEROS was developed through a community-driven effort with more than $1 million raised from donors and supporters to help establish the fields and expand athletic opportunities for youth in the region.
The complex provides Hermiston and the surrounding region with a dedicated location capable of hosting large tournaments, league play, and regional sporting events, bringing athletes and visitors to the community.
Field Reservations
HEROS Sportsplex is operated by Hermiston Parks & Recreation. Organizations interested in reserving fields for practices, leagues, or tournaments should contact the Parks & Recreation office for availability and scheduling.
