I LOVE MY CITY 2026
Join us for the annual I Love My City event on May 16, 2026, in Hermiston! This community-driven initiative brings together residents to beautify our city. It’s free for all Hermiston residents, and we’re excited to see you there!

Opportunities to Help
- Volunteer at the Event: Join the I Love My City team to help with setup and event coordination. Visit ilovehermiston.com to sign up and join the team!
- Spread the Word: Share this event with friends and neighbors to encourage community participation.
- Follow Event Guidelines: Help keep the event safe and efficient by following instructions for waste delivery (see tips below).
Community Recycling Event
Hermiston residents are invited to take part in the Community Recycling Event on May 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at New Hope Community Church, 1350 S. Highway 395. This free event gives residents an easy way to recycle items such as:
- Cardboard
- Batteries
- Scrap metal
- Appliances
- Clean wood
- Yard Debris/ Compost
- Plastic
- Furniture
- Paper Shredding Service
- Max of 10 tires
Please note that electronics, refrigerators, air conditioners, household hazardous waste, and tree stumps will not be accepted.
