Harkenrider Advisory Committee forming to help enhance and expand programs

Harkenrider Activity Committee

The City of Hermiston is forming the Harkenrider Advisory Committee. This new committee will collaborate with the existing Senior Center Board to enhance and expand the programs and events offered at the Harkenrider Senior Activity Center.

An informational meeting on January 31 at 4:30 p.m. will discuss the committee's goals, structure, and the impact it aims to have on our senior community. We encourage community members interested in senior welfare, community service, and local development to stay informed about this new venture. Involvement and support can contribute greatly to the success of this committee and the well-being of our senior population and the goals of the Harkenrider Center.
