Public Safety Committee- Council Subcommittee
The Public Safety Committee was formed in 2011 as a subcommittee of the City Council to study specific issues in more depth. The committee acts in an advisory role to the Mayor and City Council on livability issues related to public safety, crime, traffic, emergency management, and the criminal justice system at large, as well as to review police and court operations through reports from the appropriate city staff.
Meetings
This Committee meets quarterly at City Hall. Meeting dates vary.

Members
Subcommittee members are appointed by the Mayor and will consist of less than a quorum of the city council, which could include the Mayor. Oregon Public Meeting rules apply to all meetings of the subcommittees.
