Vacancy Review Board- Council Subcommittee

The Vacancy Review Board was formed as a subcommittee of the City Council in accordance to provisions of Paragraph 58 of the City Council Ruled of Order and Procedure. Subcommittee members, made up of the City Council, interview citizens that are interested in serving on the City's Committees, Boards, and Commissions and recommend appointments to said Committees, Boards, and Commissions to the City Council. 

 

Meetings/Interviews

This subcommittee meets to interview applicants as needed at City Hall. Interviews are not open to the public.

 

Members

Subcommittee members are appointed by the Mayor and will consist of less than a quorum of the city council, which could include the Mayor.

 

The Committee is comprised of:

  • Council Representatives
    • Doug Primmer
    • David McCarthy
    • Jackie Myers
  • May include a member of the Committee, Board, or Commission in which the applicant is seeking to be appointed to.
