Hermiston Library Board members are advocates for the library within the greater Hermiston community, reviewing services and planning for future development. By taking stock of current library assets and working with the library budget, the Library Board evaluates the effectiveness of the Hermiston Public Library.

Meetings
The Library Board meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at the Hermiston Public Library at 5 p.m. No meetings are held in August and December. Representatives from the City Council and city staff are also included.
