Martin Luther King Jr. Day Zoom Panel will be January 18 at noon

The Hermiston Cultural Awareness Coalition will host a panel discussion on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, January 18 in lieu of the annual march.

Speakers include City Manager Byron Smith, Hispanic Advisory Committee Chair Jose Garcia, Briana Spencer from the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, Hermiston High School students Inle Gonzalez and Jada Rome, and Carol Jeffrey Hoague of the Hermiston Cultural Awareness Coalition. The event will be moderated by Angela Pursel of KOHU & The Q.
