NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hermiston Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the 12th day of June, 2024, at or after 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers of City Hall, 180 N.E. 2nd Street, Hermiston, Oregon on the proposed conversion to amend the City’s comprehensive plan map from Future Residential to Low Density Residential for 25.85 acres with a corresponding change in the County zoning designation from FU-10 to the city zoning designation of Low Density Residential (R-1). The public hearing will also consider the proposed annexation to the City of Hermiston and withdrawal from the Umatilla County Library District the following described property:

Parcel 3 of Partition Plat No. 1998-42

Parcels 1 & 2 of Partition plat No. 2005-37

Also including the 50’ wide right of way for E Theater Lane right-of-way adjacent to the south boundary of said Parcel 2 above.

Located in a portion of the NW ¼ Sec. 1, Township 4 North, Range 28 East, W.M. Umatilla County, Oregon

The applicant is Dennis Gisi. The properties are owned by 3 Rivers Oregon Property LLC, Victory Lighthouse Church, and Larry & Florence Bankston. The property is located east of NE 10th St and north of E Theater Lane. The property is described as 4N2801B Tax Lots 1500, 1502, & 1503 and addressed as 1940, 1990 and 2180 NE 10th St.  The location of the property is within the City’s Urban Growth Boundary and the proposed changes will allow the extension of city utilities and services to the property.
