Notice of Public Hearing Hermiston Planning Commission September 30, 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hermiston Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the 30th day of September 2026, at or after 7:00 pm in the council chambers of City Hall, 180 NE 2nd Street, Hermiston, Oregon. The purpose of the hearing is to consider amending 1.52 acres of land on the city’s zoning map by adding the Neighborhood Commercial Overlay (NCO) to property described as 4N2802CD tax lots 400 & 600. The applicant and property owner is Celski Hermiston, LLC. The property is addressed as 1320 and 1340 NE 4th St. The property is further described as follows:
Parcel 1, Partition Plat No. 2005-20 and Parcel 1, Partition Plat No. 2007-44, located in the South Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 2, Township 4 North, Range 28 East of the Willamette Meridian, Umatilla County, Oregon
The Hermiston Planning Commission will also consider a request for a conditional use permit from the applicant to allow multi-family residential units in the NCO zone on the property described as 4N2802CD Tax Lot 400 during the hearing. This request is defined as a conditional use and requires approval from the Planning Commission subject to the provisions for a conditional use permit. The applicable criteria from the Hermiston Code of Ordinances that apply to conditional uses are contained in Section §157.205 to §157.210.
