Notice of Public Hearing City Council September 9, 2024 Vacation of roadway easement 4N2802D Tax Lots 900, 1000, 1100, 1101, & 1102
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at the regular meeting of September 9, 2024, at or after 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers at Hermiston City Hall located at 180 NE 2nd St, the Hermiston City Council will consider the proposed vacation of an easement for roadway purposes over the North 60 feet of the South 93 feet of the East 2616.87 feet of the Southeast Quarter of Section 2; all being East of the W.M., Umatilla County, Oregon and lying north of and parallel to E Elm Ave. The applicant is the City of Hermiston.
The vacation proceeding is ordered by the Council’s own motion on August 12, 2024, pursuant to ORS 271.130.
All interested persons are invited to attend the hearing. Written comments, objections, remonstrances, or other correspondence should be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on September 9, 2024, to the City of Hermiston Planning Department, 180 N.E. 2nd Street, Hermiston, OR 97838.
