Recreation Manager

The City of Hermiston is currently accepting applications for a Recreation Manager.  This is a full-time salaried position. The salary range is $73,140 - $88,956 DEQ.  The City of Hermiston offers an excellent benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oregon; enrollment in the Oregon Public Employees Retirement System (the city "picks-up" the 6% employee contribution), Life Insurance, paid Holidays and a generous paid vacation and sick leave package.  Relocation assistance will also be considered, as applicable.

The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication skills, capable of fostering strong relationships with staff, volunteers, and various community groups. This role requires a knack for multi-tasking the management of a facility while supervising staff, and being an innovative leader within the department.
