Reasonable Modifications for ADA
The City of Hermiston will make all reasonable modifications to policies and programs to ensure that people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to enjoy all agency programs, services, and activities. Exceptions would include modifications that:
- Would fundamentally alter the program.
- Would create a direct threat of significant risk to the health or safety of others.
- Are not necessary to enable an individual to receive the service.

Title VI Non-Discrimination Policy Notice
In compliance with 49 CFR Section 21.9 (d), The City of Hermiston has posted information for the public regarding the Title VI obligations and protections against discrimination afforded by the public under Title VI. The City of Hermiston operates it programs and services without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
What to do if you Believe You’ve Experienced Discrimination:
If you believe you have been subjected to discrimination or harassment based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age under Title VI, you have the right to file a complaint. Complaints must be filed within 180 days of the alleged incident. Upon receiving a complaint, the City of Hermiston will investigate the matter and take appropriate action to resolve it.
