Introducing Hermiston Municipal Court Administrator Jillian Viles

Jillian Viles

Jillian Viles has been selected as the new Court Administrator for Hermiston Municipal Court.  Her first day was Jan. 3, 2022.

Viles moved to Hermiston in June 2016 and most recently worked as the Treatment Court Coordinator for the 6th Judicial District Circuit Court (Umatilla & Morrow Counties).  She relaunched the Treatment Court Program (formerly known as Drug Court) in 2018.  She worked to create the only bi-county treatment court program in the State of Oregon so that Morrow County residents could participate.  The Treatment Court program provides intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment with intensive supervision for individuals who have been charged with a drug-motivated crime.

Viles holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Northwest Nazarene University and a Masters Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.  Prior working in the judicial system she worked in banking for six years.

Viles resides in Hermiston with her husband and two dogs.  In her free time she enjoys growing fruits and vegetables, and eating them if the dogs don’t get to them first.  She also enjoys reading historical fiction and sewing/quilting.
